Red River Shootout - 05/04/08

The Red River Shootout was my first real day back on the bike in the five weeks since the Tulsa accident. Thanks so much to James Dewlen for taking photos of me and my family. :)

My mom and sister live in Madill, just a few minutes away, so they also got to come to the race.

This first pic is of me immediately after completing the course. I guess it took me about 2 1/2 hours - but I seriously took my time. I stopped to talk to Stefan who DNF'd and to a few spectators. I even helped a little grass snake off the trail so he wouldn't get smushed. I did not want to push too hard and wind up spending even more time off the bike.

It was a beautiful day at a great venue.

I had a really great weekend!
